Enabling Greatness:
Our Story Behind UBC Vancouver’s Buildings and Grounds

UBC – Building Operations

UBC Building Operations participated in the APPA FMEP (Facilities Management Evaluation Program) evaluation process for facilities management excellence. RDC designed and assembled the 170-page book Enabling Greatness: Our Story Behind UBC Vancouver’s Buildings and Grounds, which served a dual purpose as both a formal self-evaluation, as well as a comprehensive overview of Building Operations, its activities, current performance, and future plans.

Challenge accepted

“Designing and typesetting a book of this scope was a bit of a challenge but also enjoyable, given the richness of content - from imagery to critical statistics - and a compact timeline. The whole team at UBC was incredibly dedicated, and everyone spent considerable time ensuring the information was accurate. It was quite a feat of coordination with all of the stakeholders involved, and the end result speaks for itself.”
